Bee Creek Current is an easy to access news source for residents in the western Travis county area between Bee Cave and the Pedernales River.  Officially Spicewood, residents rely on news from Lake Travis View and Marble Falls Highlander.  We are dedicated to being focused on the issues of Bee Creek area residents...sometimes previously overlooked by reporters and news sources.

Our Business

Bee Creek Current will remain a free website for all readers, no subscription is necessary.  If you do want to join our mailing list you will be alerted when News is posted and you will also receive discounts from our advertisers as part of our community promotion programs.

We sell a limited number of advertising spots on our website for a premium, in addition to these ads we also intend to provide a monthly mailing for members in the community who do not have or have chosen not to use the internet as a news source.  These mailings will be limited to future paying subscribers. 

When we have more information on our advertising rates and programs we will spread the word.

Who We Are

As members of this growing community, we realized that news sources were skipping over our area.  As an unincorporated region, there is often confusion about Bee Creek.

Bee Creek is Travis County with a mailing address of Spicewood, TX.  Our mail service comes from Burnet County.  Bee Creek is roughly defined as the area surrounding Highway 71, Bee Creek Road and Pace Bend Road.  This is more or less the geographical area that we intend to serve.

We rely on contributions from the community residents to stay informed.  If you know something we should be reporting, please submit the news as soon as possible to news@beecreekcurrent.com
